Xflats Lodge

Yucatan, Mexico

February 26 - March 6, 2022

Nestled up the beach from the village of Xcalak (pronounced ish-kalak), the Xflats Lodge accesses the world-renowned flats of the Chetumal Bay area. Xcalak is situated at the end of the road at the bottom of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, just north of Ambergris Cay Belize. This is one of the last unspoiled stretches of the Mexican Caribbean.

The lodge is immersed in the lush greenery of Costa Maya’s ancient forests and anglers fish an abundance of flats and reefs for the Big Three—tarpon, permit, and bonefish. Jacks, snapper, barracuda, snook, and a large variety of other species are also in the mix. There is a tropical exquisiteness to this place, paired with some of the best permit flats in the Caribbean.
